Amazon Rainforest Adventure – 4 Days / 3 Nights

Experience the magic of the Peruvian Amazon on this unforgettable adventure in Tambopata near Puerto Maldonado. This program allows travelers to explore the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest while staying in a comfortable eco-lodge surrounded by nature.

During this journey you will discover the Amazon through guided jungle walks, wildlife observation, and visits to unique natural attractions such as the famous macaw clay lick.


Day 1 – Welcome to the Amazon

Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, our team will welcome you at the airport. The adventure begins with a scenic transfer by road followed by a boat ride along the Tambopata River deep into the rainforest.

After arriving at the lodge and settling into your room, enjoy a welcome drink and an introduction to the Amazon ecosystem. In the afternoon, explore the forest on a short guided walk and observe tropical birds and wildlife.


Day 2 – Macaw Clay Lick & Jungle Exploration

Wake up early for a visit to the spectacular Macaw Clay Lick, where colorful macaws and parrots gather in large numbers. This is one of the most impressive wildlife spectacles in the Amazon rainforest.

In the afternoon, enjoy guided jungle walks to learn about medicinal plants, insects, and the fascinating ecosystem of the Amazon.


Day 3 – Amazon Wildlife & Canopy Tower

Today you will explore deeper into the rainforest with your naturalist guide. Activities may include:

  • Wildlife observation
  • Birdwatching
  • Visit to the canopy tower for views above the rainforest
  • Exploration of the Amazon trails

At night you may join a night walk to discover the fascinating nocturnal creatures of the Amazon.


Day 4 – Return to Puerto Maldonado

After breakfast, return by boat along the Tambopata River to Puerto Maldonado for your flight back to Lima or your next destination.
