Day 1 – Lima • Paracas • Ica • Huacachina

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Lima as we travel south along the scenic Pan-American Highway.

Our first destination is the charming fishing town of Paracas, where we'll board a boat to the famous Ballestas Islands. During the excursion you'll observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, pelicans, cormorants, and thousands of marine birds while admiring the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph carved into the hillside.

Next, we explore the spectacular Paracas National Reserve, visiting beautiful Pacific beaches where, if you wish, you can take a refreshing swim before enjoying one of Peru's finest ceviches overlooking the ocean.

Our journey continues to the historic Tacama Winery, Peru's oldest vineyard, where you'll learn about wine and pisco production while sampling selected wines. Lunch features regional specialties including Pallares, Sopa Seca, and the famous Carapulcra.

By late afternoon we arrive at the magical Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by towering sand dunes. Enjoy a relaxing walk around the lagoon, admire the sunset, or choose an optional dune buggy and sandboarding adventure.

Day 2 – Huacachina • Palpa • Nazca

After breakfast we continue south toward Nazca.

Along the highway we'll stop at several viewpoints overlooking the mysterious Nazca and Palpa Lines while learning about their fascinating history.

We'll also visit the María Reiche House Museum and the remains of an old colonial church before arriving in Nazca.

Those wishing to experience the famous Nazca Lines Flight may do so today (optional).

Later we board a 4x4 vehicle to cross the desert toward the impressive Ceremonial Center of Cahuachi. Along the route we'll visit the Cantalloc Aqueducts, a thousand-year-old Huarango tree, an ancient looted cemetery, and finally the sacred pyramids of Cahuachi, the most important ceremonial center of the Nazca civilization.

Day 3 – Nazca • Chauchilla Cemetery • Puerto Inka • Arequipa

Following breakfast we'll visit the fascinating Chauchilla Cemetery, where naturally preserved mummies remain inside their original tombs.

Continuing south, we'll stop at the beautiful bay of Puerto Inka for lunch before driving across spectacular desert landscapes toward Arequipa.

Arrival in the White City during the afternoon.

Day 4 – Discover Arequipa

Today's tour introduces you to one of Peru's most beautiful colonial cities.

Visit the historic center, admire the volcanic architecture built from white sillar stone, explore the famous Route of the Sillar, enjoy the picturesque countryside, and discover the remarkable Santa Catalina Monastery.

The remainder of the afternoon is free.

Day 5 – Arequipa • Colca Canyon

Travel through the breathtaking Andean highlands toward the spectacular Colca Canyon.

Along the way we'll stop at scenic viewpoints, visit the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, and observe wild vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas roaming freely across the altiplano.

Upon arrival at your hotel, enjoy a relaxing afternoon soaking in the natural hot springs.

Overnight: Colca Valley

Day 6 – Colca Canyon • Cruz del Cóndor • Puno

Early in the morning we visit the famous Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, one of the best places in South America to observe the majestic Andean Condor soaring above the canyon.

After lunch we continue across the Andean plateau toward Puno, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

Day 7 – Lake Titicaca • Uros Floating Islands • Amantaní

Today we explore the legendary Lake Titicaca.

Visit the fascinating floating islands of Uros before continuing to Amantaní Island.

Meet your local host family, enjoy a traditional homemade lunch, hike to the ancient ceremonial temples, and experience authentic Andean hospitality during an unforgettable homestay.

Day 8 – Taquile Island • Puno

After breakfast we continue by boat to Taquile Island, renowned for its UNESCO-recognized textile traditions.

Walk through this peaceful island while learning about its unique customs before enjoying lunch overlooking Lake Titicaca.

Return to Puno during the afternoon.

Day 9 – Puno • Cusco (The Route of the Sun)

Today's scenic private drive to Cusco includes several fascinating stops.

We'll visit:

• The Temple of Raqchi

Day 12 – Machu Picchu

Early this morning visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

After the visit, return by train to Cusco.

Day 13 – Free Day in Cusco

Today is yours to enjoy Cusco at your own pace.
