Arrival in Arequipa – The White City
Welcome to Arequipa, one of the most beautiful cities in Peru. Known as the White City, Arequipa is famous for its beautifully preserved historic buildings constructed from white volcanic sillar.
Arequipa is also renowned for its exceptional regional cuisine. During your stay, you can discover local specialties such as rocoto relleno, chupe de camarones, chicha de jora and queso helado.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and take some time to rest. In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Santa Catalina Monastery, a remarkable complex filled with colorful streets, courtyards and centuries of history.

After breakfast, enjoy a city and countryside tour of Arequipa. Discover the city's historic center, visit the local market and admire the impressive Cathedral of Arequipa.
Continue beyond the historic center to discover the countryside surrounding the city and some of its traditional estates and historic buildings, including the Casa del Comendador.
The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax, explore Arequipa independently or enjoy its extraordinary regional gastronomy.

After breakfast, depart Arequipa and travel toward Puno. The journey takes you through the spectacular landscapes of the southern Peruvian Andes.
